Why Heritage?
A keen member of the National Trust and English Heritage.
- I believe in promoting the environment and the wildlife that exists in it and I tend to paint for the moment -even in 30years time that scene or animal might not be there preserving what we have for future generations.!

SPARROWS - Just had to paint these -they are on the decrease and their colours are amazing once you really look.
HARES and HAY BALES - You don`t see many hay bales now they are mainly in plastic sheets -the hare is a bonus-great to see. As well as being able to express my feelings in paintings I have been really lucky that some local farmers,
and residents have allowed the emergence of a " Heritage Apple Trail," in the parish comprising of 30 old varieties that used to grow in this area but no longer. They are planted by a footpath for all to enjoy.

Why do I call myself "Coloursfresh on Canvas"
One very good reason for this is that people always comment on my paintings saying "The Colours are so Fresh," so painting on deep boxed canvases it just had to be "Coloursfresh on Canvas." bringing Heritage to your home!
